Uzbekistan Airports and the cargo airline My Freighter have launched a multimodal route for delivering e-commerce goods from China to Europe via Tashkent. The project operates on a Truck-to-Air scheme: goods from various Chinese cities are first delivered by road to Tashkent, where they are processed, and then sent by plane to Liege International Airport in Belgium.

The route began operating on August 22, 2026, and to date, seven cargo flights have been completed. In the next phase, the frequency is planned to increase to four to six flights per week. Each aircraft will be able to carry about 50 tons of cargo, so after reaching the planned mode, the volume of transportation will be approximately 200–300 tons of e-commerce goods per week.

Uzbekistan Airports expects to use the new route to strengthen Tashkent's transit role as a multimodal logistics hub between Asia and Europe. The company notes that combining road and air transportation will connect major Chinese e-commerce centers with European markets and simultaneously strengthen Uzbekistan's position in international logistics.
