Representatives of Uzbekistan and the French company Voodoo discussed prospects for developing the country's gaming industry and promoting local projects in international markets. The meeting took place in Paris as part of the International Space Summit. The negotiations were attended by Bobur Khojaev, Head of the Department of Financial Technologies, Digitalization, and Artificial Intelligence of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies, and Yuri Kotikov, Voodoo's Head of Eastern Europe.

The Uzbek side presented the state of the national GameDev industry, its main development directions, and working conditions for game development companies. Voodoo showed interest in the Uzbekistan market and expressed readiness to help promising game startups enter the international level. Thus, cooperation could become one of the channels for promoting local developers outside the country.

Separately, the parties discussed launching educational programs based on Voodoo Academy and holding joint hackathons. In the future, company representatives plan to meet with game studios in Uzbekistan to assess their potential and identify opportunities for joint promotion of the most promising projects in foreign markets.
