In 2025, the share of Uzbekistan's population aged 10 and older using computers reached 62.1%. These data are provided by the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan based on household sample surveys. Over eight years, the indicator increased by 13 percentage points compared to 2017, when 49.1% of residents in the corresponding age group used computers.

Growth occurred almost annually. In 2018, the share of users was 49.7%, in 2019 – 49.8%, and in 2020, it increased to 52.5%. In 2021, the indicator reached 58.2%, in 2022 – 58.8%, and in 2023 – 59.2%. Thus, the most significant acceleration occurred between 2020 and 2021, when the share of users grew by 5.7 percentage points at once.

In 2024, 60.4% of the population aged 10 and older already used computers, and a year later, the indicator exceeded 62% for the first time. As a result, from 2017 to 2025, the share of users increased from 49.1% to 62.1%. The statistics reflect a steady expansion of computer use among the country's population and a gradual increase in the level of digitalization.
