Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have agreed to expand cooperation between their national technological ecosystems. The prospects for interaction were discussed by the Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Shermatov, and the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Yerali Tugzhanov. The parties focused on developing ties between IT Park Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan's Astana Hub, viewing the partnership as an opportunity to combine resources and experience instead of competing between the two countries.
Among the priorities are creating conditions for the joint development of startups and IT companies, implementing common projects, and entering the markets of both countries. The meeting participants also discussed promoting regional developments abroad, attracting foreign investors and technology companies, and forming a unified technological brand for Central Asia. It is expected that cooperation will allow companies in the region to expand their presence in international markets.

A separate block of negotiations was dedicated to digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, data centers, and innovative projects. Following the meeting, the parties emphasized the need to strengthen ties between IT Park Uzbekistan and Astana Hub and consistently develop joint initiatives. The specific timelines for project implementation and the volumes of proposed investments were not specified in the announcement.
