From January 1, 2026, a comprehensive registration system for entrepreneurs will be launched in Uzbekistan, allowing a business to be opened in 15 minutes.
The Ministry of Justice reported that the new procedure is being introduced on the basis of a presidential decree and is aimed at simplifying business procedures. The system will combine several public services at once, so that entrepreneurs do not have to contact different departments and spend weeks processing documents.
According to government estimates, the introduction of the model will reduce the administrative costs of business by approximately 90 billion soums and reduce the time spent interacting with government bodies to 15 days per year.
Comprehensive registration provides for the simultaneous provision of seven services:
- Registration of an electronic digital signature;
- Filing an application for opening and activating bank accounts;
- Sending a request for obtaining a license, permit or notification for certain types of activities;
- Conclusion of a real estate lease agreement;
- Obtaining a VAT payer certificate;
- Online purchase of cash registers with their registration with tax authorities;
- Appointment of the head of a legal entity and registration in the interdepartmental system "Unified National Labor System".
Each service will be available to the entrepreneur at will. Payment for selected items will be available through a single QR code.
