At the 5G Core Award 2025 ceremony in Bangkok, Uztelecom was recognized as a leader in the implementation of a cloud architecture for the 5G core network.
The international award recognized the large-scale modernization that the operator carried out jointly with Huawei, strengthening the country's digital infrastructure and improving the quality of mobile communications.
The company has completely updated the 5G core platform, switching to equipment with high computing power. This allowed the network to cope with sharply increasing traffic and ensure stable operation during peak hours. The new architecture increased bandwidth, accelerated response to load, and supported the expansion of VoLTE and modern mobile Internet standards.
The cloud core has become the foundation for further development: it consumes less energy, is easier to scale, and is ready for the integration of AI systems to automate network management.
