The construction of China Town, a modern residential and business cluster worth $750 million, has started in the Namangan region.
The work is being carried out by the company of the same name in the Davlatabad district, and the project itself will be unique for the region, combining housing, business centers, five-star hotels, shopping and entertainment spaces in a single urban environment.
The authorities emphasize that China Town will become a powerful driver of economic development in Namangan. The complex will create new jobs, increase the investment attractiveness of the region and serve as a showcase for international cooperation. The khokim noted that laying the first stone is not only the start of construction, but also a symbol of the growing partnership between Uzbekistan and China.
The project harmoniously complements the growing technological cooperation between the two countries. At a meeting between President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the heads of Chinese corporations on December 5, plans were confirmed to launch new joint initiatives worth billions of dollars, making the region one of the key centers for bilateral projects.
