A Center for "Pure Science" is Being Created in Uzbekistan: Institute of Theoretical Physics to Appear at Tashkent State University

The new structure will focus on quantum theory, gravity, and training future theoretical physicists

An Institute of Theoretical Physics will be established at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek. The corresponding decision is enshrined in a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers. The new institute will become a specialized platform for the development of fundamental research and strengthening the country's scientific potential in the field of physics.

Key areas of work include quantum field theory, subatomic and indefinite physics, the theory of gravity, quantum networks, and dynamic systems. It is planned to hold international and national scientific conferences, as well as create a sustainable research environment focused on the current challenges of modern theoretical physics.

A separate emphasis will be placed on the training of young specialists. The institute will attract talented students and undergraduates to scientific activities, support universities in the formation of a personnel reserve, and develop a new generation of theoretical physicists. In addition, the structure will prepare analytical materials on priority areas and global trends in the development of physics in leading scientific centers.
