Fergana and Tashkent International Airports have successfully completed their participation in the APEX in Safety program, conducted by Airports Council International (ACI). The program assesses the level of flight safety based on ICAO standards and advanced industry practices, including the analysis of safety management systems and emergency preparedness.
ACI experts conducted a detailed review of key processes: documentation, safety procedures, airfield infrastructure, visual navigation aids, and risk management related to wildlife. The assessment showed that the current approaches fully comply with international requirements and provided recommendations for further improvement.
The implementation of the measures proposed by ACI will strengthen the safety culture, improve the level of aviation infrastructure and personnel training. The APEX in Safety program remains an important tool for supporting airports in ensuring safe flights, and details are available on the official ACI website.
