The "Toshelectroapparat" enterprise, in collaboration with the Kazakh company "TEPLOTEXNIKA PLYUS", has launched a pilot project to implement an intelligent street lighting system in Shymkent. As part of the initiative, energy-saving lamps with automatic brightness control and a remote control and monitoring system have been installed.
The new solution allows for a significant reduction in electricity consumption, optimization of operating costs, and increased efficiency of the city's lighting network. The akim of Shymkent, Gabit Syzdybekov, participated in the project implementation event.
The meeting discussed the possibility of organizing mass production of such intelligent systems and the phased implementation of the project in other regions. Currently, the project is in the practical operation stage, and based on its results, the expansion of similar solutions to other cities in Kazakhstan is being considered.
