The Central Bank announced the completion of an inspection into the facts of unauthorized withdrawals of funds through the Humans app. Following the results of the proceedings, the collected materials were sent to the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the city of Tashkent for legal assessment and the adoption of measures within the framework of current legislation.
As clarified by the regulator's press service, the inspection was carried out at the payment organization of the joint-stock company "Octogram," which provided payment services to Humans. On the basis of an order from the Central Bank, a working group was established there, which studied the circumstances of what happened and prepared a final report.
The Central Bank noted that the situation related to Humans' activities is currently being reviewed by the Tashkent Main Directorate of Internal Affairs. Citizens who have encountered unauthorized withdrawals of funds are advised to contact law enforcement agencies directly to protect their rights and for further proceedings.
