The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan approved the procedure for inspecting and recording technological disruptions in the electric power system. Resolution No. 850 dated December 31, 2025 establishes procedures for identifying, classifying, and documenting damage to electrical installations, deviations in their operating parameters, and cases of partial or complete suspension of electricity supply outside the planned mode.
All incidents are divided into accidents and first- and second-degree failures depending on the nature of the disruption and the severity of the consequences. The inspection of technological disruptions must begin immediately after they are detected and be completed within ten days. Record-keeping is assigned to all electric power facilities — enterprises involved in the generation, storage, transmission, and distribution of electricity, as well as related networks.
The document is aimed at increasing transparency and the speed of response to technological disruptions, improving oversight, and ensuring the stable operation of the country's energy system.
