A large industrial project is being launched in the Tashkent region: President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the work of Infinity Copper Group in the Akhangaran district. The company specializes in the production of copper pipes and fittings and is already considered one of the leaders in the industry in the country, uniting four production sites.
The project worth $36 million is being implemented jointly with partners from China and Germany on an area of 10 hectares. Construction and installation work has been completed by 90%, almost $15 million of investments have been mastered. After reaching full capacity, the enterprise will replace imports by about $10 million — in 2025, Uzbekistan purchased such products abroad for $15 million.
It is planned to create 300 jobs and ensure budget revenues at the level of 200 billion soums. Export potential is estimated at $350 million: deliveries are planned to the UAE, African countries, the USA and Europe. The authorities expect that the expansion of such industries will strengthen the country's position in the global market for products with high added value.
