The electrical industry of the republic has been actively developing in recent years due to state support, the inflow of foreign direct investment and the introduction of modern technologies. This makes it possible to expand the processing of local raw materials and increase the production of competitive products with high added value for both the domestic market and for export.

The project is being implemented jointly with Fajr Al Mustaqbal General Trading on an area of 10 hectares. The total investment is 30 million dollars. After reaching its design capacity, the enterprise will provide 250 jobs, and the volume of exports will reach 4 million dollars. Currently, construction and installation work is 95% complete, with 11.3 million dollars invested.

The products are planned to be supplied to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan. There are only two such enterprises operating in Uzbekistan, and four in Central Asia; in terms of production volume, Premier will take second place among them.

It is expected that after the launch in full, the enterprise will provide the production of import-substituting products for approximately 87 million dollars per year. The head of state inspected the production lines, assessed the quality of the manufactured equipment and talked with employees.
