Uzbekistan plans to expand support measures for electric vehicles, including the issuance of subsidized loans. According to the presidential decree and the state program for 2026 (UP-22), loans will be provided at a rate of up to 16% per annum, and the difference above this rate will be compensated by the budget. The first stage involves issuing 15,000 such loans.

Infrastructure is also being developed: by the end of the year, the country should have 4,000 charging stations. Entrepreneurs will be able to receive targeted loans at 10% for installing electric charging stations and acquire land at a reduced price. Electricity costs exceeding 300 soums per kWh will also be subsidized.

The measures extend to electric vehicles in taxis: drivers will receive a 10% reduction in social tax, the first 30 minutes of parking at railway stations and airports will be free, and a badge of \"Tabiat himoyachisi\" (\"Nature Defender\") is provided for a mileage of one million kilometers without accidents. The number of taxi drivers in electric vehicles is expected to increase to 300,000 and the share of polluting vehicles to decrease by 7%. Also in 2026, it is planned to dispose of 3,000 old cars through trade-in programs and component recycling.
