Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Ilzat Kasimov held negotiations with Wang Xuhui, Chairman of Shanghai LinkWise Data Intelligence. They discussed the company's current projects in the country, including the construction of a data processing center in Karakalpakstan, and opportunities for expanding cooperation in the IT sector.
The parties agreed to accelerate the construction of the data center and launch the first capacities in the second quarter of 2026. The project envisages the creation of a high-performance infrastructure for the corporate and public sectors, including solutions for artificial intelligence and big data analysis.
In addition, the Chinese company expressed its readiness to attract additional partners for the development of Uzbekistan's digital infrastructure, which will strengthen the country's position in the field of high technology and create new opportunities for the IT industry.
