A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by the Chairman of the Tourism Committee Abdulaziz Akkulov, participated in the ITB Berlin international exhibition and the UN Tourism Ministerial Summit. During the visit to Germany, representatives of the republic held a series of meetings with international organizations and major tourism companies aimed at strengthening the promotion of the country's tourism potential and increasing the flow of foreign guests.
One of the key results of the negotiations was an agreement with Trip.com Group to launch a digital platform to promote Uzbekistan. Joint marketing campaigns are planned on the holding's services and the creation of a specialized online page dedicated to the country's tourism opportunities. The main focus will be on attracting travelers from Southeast Asia.
In addition, Uzbekistan agreed with the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan to update the memorandum of cooperation, including conducting FAM tours for industry specialists and visits by popular bloggers. Special attention is paid to the development of cross-border routes and business tourism, as well as the promotion of the Arda Khiva complex as a new international platform for events and conferences.
