A meeting was held at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan between the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Beibut Atamkulov, and a representative of the board of the joint-stock commercial bank Tenge Bank, Beibit Faleev. The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the two countries.
Special attention was paid to the role of the banking sector in ensuring stable financial settlements and supporting joint projects. The meeting participants emphasized that a reliable banking infrastructure plays an important role in the growth of mutual trade, as well as in protecting the rights and interests of entrepreneurs operating in the markets of both countries.
It was noted that Tenge Bank, a subsidiary of Halyk Bank, is actively involved in servicing foreign trade operations and developing trade finance instruments. Following the negotiations, the parties expressed their readiness to expand cooperation and strengthen the participation of financial institutions in the implementation of new investment initiatives between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
