IVECO BUS is expanding its presence in Uzbekistan through two strategic agreements: local production of DAILY minibuses using the CKD scheme and national distribution of the entire brand lineup.
Production in partnership with Asaka Motors International LLC will start in May 2026, and ASAKA EFVI TRUCK AND BUS JV LLC will handle the distribution. The partners plan to sell 500 units in the first year and increase production to 1,000 minibuses annually within three years.
The CKD project will create new jobs, provide technical training, and transfer skills within the automotive sector. Local assembly will ensure competitive prices, reliable after-sales service, and reduced delivery times. The program includes diesel and electric versions of minibuses designed for urban and intercity transportation, corporate fleets, and tourist routes.
In the future, IVECO BUS plans to introduce fully electric models and buses with zero emissions. This will support Uzbekistan's environmental goals and contribute to the development of modern transport solutions in major cities, strengthening the national industrial ecosystem.
