A meeting was held in Tashkent between the Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, Akram Aliyev, and the Business Development Director of the Turkish company Türksat, Ömer Şamil Açba. They discussed opportunities for cooperation in telecommunications, satellite communications, and digital infrastructure, as well as the implementation of modern technologies.
Türksat, operating since 1990, is one of the leading satellite communication operators in Turkey and serves clients in Europe, Asia, and Africa, offering comprehensive solutions for television, internet, and data transmission. During the negotiations, the parties emphasized the importance of exchanging experience and expanding partnerships within the framework of digital transformation.
The Uzbek side confirmed its readiness to support Türksat's initiatives and facilitate their practical implementation, which opens up new prospects for the development of high-tech infrastructure and the strengthening of international cooperation in the field of communication.
