The Uzbekistan team participated in the international Act In Space space hackathon for the first time and immediately achieved resounding success, taking second place in the final. The national stage of the competition was organized by the Uzcosmos agency, and the NazarX team, consisting of students from the Turin Polytechnic University, won the internal selection.
The final of the competition was held in Bordeaux, France, and brought together 391 teams from 23 countries. Participants presented projects in the field of space technologies, and the Uzbek team presented the concept of a modular satellite. In the semi-finals, they competed with teams from Taiwan, France, Kazakhstan and Morocco, where it was necessary to take first place in the group to advance further.
As a result of a tense struggle, NazarX became the leader of its semi-final and reached the final, where it met with the five strongest teams in the tournament. As a result, the Uzbek project took second place overall, confirming the high level of training of young engineers and the country's growing potential in the field of space technologies and international scientific competitions.
