Representatives from Uzbekistan visited the Turkish province of Mersin to explore opportunities for cooperation in logistics, trade, and investment. The visit included a business forum with over 40 entrepreneurs from both countries, working in agriculture, logistics, greenhouse farming, and other sectors.

The main topic of discussion was the use of Mersin as a major transport hub for delivering Uzbek products to Turkey, Europe, and Middle Eastern countries. Participants discussed the development of export infrastructure, the promotion of national brands, and the expansion of business ties between companies.

In addition, the Uzbek delegation visited the Mersin Free Economic Zone MESBAŞ, where over 330 companies operate with a total turnover of approximately $3.5 billion. The juice producer Dena expressed interest in using the zone's warehouse facilities to expand exports. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue cooperation in trade, logistics, and investment projects.
