JSC "Uzmetkombinat" and Chinese SINO STEEL Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited discussed the joint implementation of projects to expand the enterprise's production capacities. The negotiations took place in China during a working trip of the plant's delegation led by Chairman of the Board Bakhodir Abdullaev.
One of the central issues was the construction of a new blast furnace directly on the territory of "Uzmetkombinat". The parties also considered the introduction of modern engineering and technological solutions, the modernization of production processes, and the creation of new industrial capacities.
A separate block of negotiations was dedicated to the Tebinbulak, Temirkansky, and Zakar-Chuyansky deposits. The participants discussed geological surveys, the organization of drilling operations, and the subsequent industrial development of the sites.
The implementation of these projects should help "Uzmetkombinat" increase its production potential, ensure a more reliable raw material base, and expand its metallurgical capacities. Negotiations with SINO STEEL became another stage of Uzbekistan's international cooperation in preparing large industrial projects.
