"Uzmetkombinat" and Chinese CSCES International discussed large-scale projects for the development of the enterprise's energy infrastructure. The negotiations took place on August 12 in Beijing with the participation of a delegation from the plant led by Chairman of the Board Bakhodir Abdullaev and Uzbekistan's Ambassador to China Farkhod Arziev.

The main project was the construction of a 150 MW thermal power plant on the territory of "Uzmetkombinat". The Chinese company presented its proposals for the project's implementation. Such a thermal power plant should increase the reliability of energy supply to production facilities and provide the necessary capacity for further expansion of the enterprise.

In addition, CSCES International proposed installing a BESS energy storage system. It will allow storing electricity, feeding it back into the grid when necessary, and managing the load more efficiently. The parties discussed the technical characteristics, economic parameters of the projects, and the use of modern energy technologies.

Following the meeting, the participants agreed to study the Chinese side's proposals in detail, agree on technical and financial terms, and continue negotiations. The implementation of the projects is considered part of a long-term plan to strengthen the energy base of "Uzmetkombinat" and support the growth of its production capacities.
