On September 22–23, 2026, the 19th International Conference of Administrators and Registrars of National Top-Level Domains of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, TLDCON 2026, will take place in Tashkent. The event will be held at the Panarams Tashkent Hotel and will welcome participants in Uzbekistan for the first time. Experts, regulators, and IT business representatives will gather at one venue to discuss the development of the domain industry and new technological challenges.

One of the main topics will be the application of artificial intelligence for protecting domain ecosystems, predicting threats, and combating attacks and abuses in DNS. Participants will also discuss improving the efficiency of DNS resolvers, universal adoption of international standards, regulation of special domain zones, government organization domains, and brand domains. A separate block will be dedicated to marketing and promotion of national domains.

TLDCON has been held since 2008 and brings together domain industry participants to exchange experience and develop common approaches to managing national domains. This year, the organizers have also prepared a youth section dedicated to specialist training, international digital cooperation, and mentorship.

UZINFOCOM, the registry of the .UZ domain, will be the host. National domain administrations, registrars, government representatives, information security specialists, developers, and specialized media are invited to participate.

“This year, the conference expands its geography and will be held for the first time in Tashkent – one of the technological centers of Central Asia. We are pleased to hold it jointly with UZINFOCOM – the registry of the .UZ domain, which actively develops the national domain zone and implements modern domain management technologies. In the context of rapid digitalization and growing cyber threats, it is important to maintain an open dialogue among all participants in the domain industry. I am confident that TLDCON 2026 will become a platform for discussing common challenges, exchanging practical experience, and developing solutions for the development of domain infrastructure,” noted Andrey Vorobyev, Director of the Coordination Center for .RU/.РФ Domains.

TLDCON 2026 will be held in a hybrid format: offline and online. Participation in the conference is free, and participant registration is already open.
