IT Park Uzbekistan and OITE Global signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at expanding the participation of Uzbek IT companies and startups in the COMEX exhibition in Oman. The document was signed within the framework of ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2026. The parties also discussed preparations for COMEX 2027, which will be held on February 1–4 in Muscat at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre, and possible formats for presenting Uzbekistan's technology projects.

Special attention was paid to startups and their interaction with investors. Within the COMEX ecosystem, a special direction is planned for companies from Central Asia, with negotiations with potential investors, technology companies, and international partners. The memorandum also provides for facilitating the official participation of Uzbek startups in COMEX events, developing ties between technology ecosystems, and exploring the possibility of holding exhibition events in Uzbekistan.

In 2025, COMEX was visited by more than 90 thousand people, and over 200 public and private organizations and more than 140 technology startups participated in the events. During the exhibition, more than 150 agreements worth about 116 million Omani rials were announced. The cooperation of IT Park Uzbekistan with COMEX already has a practical basis: in September 2025, representatives of IT Park and residents Detecting AI, BRB Tech, and Fleetroot participated in the exhibition in Muscat, where they held negotiations with Omani and international companies.
