The Uzcosmos agency and STAR.VISION company have signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of applying hyperspectral satellite data. The partners intend to jointly test and develop practical solutions based on information that will be received by the "Samarkand 2028" spacecraft.

The document provides for research into the possibilities of using hyperspectral images, support for research and development projects, and the approbation of new space technologies. The signing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov, the Director of Uzcosmos Shukhrat Kadirov, and the CEO of STAR.VISION Group Danying Fan.

A separate direction will be the commercialization of developments. The parties plan to assess which applied products and services can be created based on satellite data, as well as to identify promising areas for their use. Uzcosmos expects that the partnership with STAR.VISION will expand the practical application of space technologies and satellite information in Uzbekistan.
