Yandex Uzbekistan became a laureate of the ESG Awards 2026 in the Digital Impact in ESG category for projects aimed at developing digital accessibility and educational initiatives.

The award was presented during the Tashkent International Investment Forum. The jury noted the company's contribution to creating a more inclusive digital environment and adapting services for people with disabilities.

Today, features for blind and visually impaired users are implemented in nine ecosystem products, including Yandex Go, Alisa AI, Mail, Browser, Yandex Music, and Yandex Books. Special attention is paid to the Yandex Go service, where tools for deaf and hard-of-hearing drivers are being developed, as well as functions for ordering adapted transport.

Yandex Go also expands urban navigation capabilities: Yandex Maps contains information on the accessibility of over 19,000 objects, including data on ramps, elevators, and barrier-free entrances.

In addition to inclusion, the company develops educational initiatives: free programming and AI courses have already attracted over 1,100 teachers, and the Programming School has received over 1,200 applications. These projects are considered a contribution to training personnel for the country's digital economy.
