A Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation was signed at the House of Human Rights in Tashkent between the National Centre of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights and Tashkent State University of Law. The document was signed by the Director of the National Centre, Academician Akmal Saidov, and the Rector of TSUL, Professor Bakhshillo Khodjaev.

The agreement provides for expanding cooperation in the field of protecting human rights and freedoms, developing legal education, and scientific research. Special attention is planned to be given to studying advanced national and international experience and enhancing the professional potential of young lawyers.

As part of the cooperation, the organizations intend to launch joint scientific projects, hold conferences, seminars, round tables, and training sessions with the participation of experts and lecturers. Students will be able to gain additional practical skills through joint educational initiatives.

The parties also plan to improve educational materials on human rights and introduce modern teaching methods. National legislation will be studied in conjunction with international human rights standards.

The combination of the expert potential of the National Centre and the educational opportunities of TSUL should strengthen the link between legal science, education, and practice, as well as contribute to raising the legal culture of young people.
