Companies in Uzbekistan are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence developers not for chatbots, but for solutions to specific business problems. This involves reducing customer response times, consolidating disparate data, and automating document management. This was stated by Abbos Khamidov, founder and CEO of the Tashkent-based company AISolution, an OpenAI partner with Select Partner status. According to him, projects in the field of inquiry processing and customer service pay off the fastest. A ready-made AI assistant for small businesses costs from $1,000, while an enterprise platform with 1C integration costs approximately $10,000–$30,000.

Educational organizations, agencies for studying abroad, retail chains, distributors, and some banks are the most active users of such solutions. In manufacturing, construction, and the public sector, implementation is still often limited to pilot projects or individual modules. Khamidov notes that customers increasingly want to connect AI with 1C, CRM, and warehouse systems to eliminate data discrepancies and reduce manual work. At the same time, one of the features of the local market remains multilingualism: clients freely switch between Uzbek and Russian, using both Cyrillic and Latin scripts, which global tools do not always handle successfully.
According to the head of AISolution, the first results of customer service automation can appear within a few weeks. In one agency, response time was reduced from 2–3 hours to less than a minute, and the number of consultation bookings increased by 40% in the first month. In an IT school where the system was implemented in two weeks, conversion increased by 35% in six weeks. AI does not replace managers: it ascertains the needs and budget of a potential client, filters out random inquiries, and passes interested buyers to employees along with the correspondence history. Khamidov recommends defining measurable effectiveness criteria in advance — from response speed to conversion and error rates, as the number of processed messages itself does not reflect the real business benefit.
