The return of M360 Eurasia to Uzbekistan for the second consecutive year underscores the country's status as a regional digital hub and the dynamics of the "Digital Uzbekistan 2030" strategy implementation. Moving the forum to Samarkand, a historical crossroads of Eurasian routes, reflects the government's commitment to making the country a platform for modern digital cooperation, innovation, and technological investments.

The Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Shermatov, stated: "We are pleased to welcome the mobile ecosystem to Samarkand, a city that has connected cultures, ideas, and trade for centuries. Holding M360 Eurasia here reflects Uzbekistan's commitment to creating a modern digital economy based on openness and innovation. As we advance the 'Digital Uzbekistan 2030' agenda, partnerships with the mobile industry remain key to accelerating economic growth and strengthening regional cooperation. We look forward to a productive dialogue between regulators and industry leaders."

The Chairman of Beeline Uzbekistan and CEO of VEON Group, Kaan Terzioglu, noted: "Central Asia is rapidly becoming a center for digital development based on AI. The M360 Eurasia 2025 forum in Tashkent demonstrated this potential, bringing together leaders from across the region. We are proud to once again partner with GSMA and the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan to hold M360 Eurasia 2026 in Samarkand and showcase the region's growing opportunities."

The Director General of GSMA Ltd., John Hoffman, emphasized: "Holding M360 Eurasia 2026 in Samarkand reflects our commitment to supporting digital transformation and interregional cooperation in Eurasia. Samarkand's unique position — as a historical and modern hub between continents — makes it an ideal venue. We look forward to bringing together global and regional leaders to promote innovation, investment, and connectivity development."

The M360 Eurasia forum is part of the global GSMA M360 series. The platform is designed to discuss regional and global trends affecting the mobile industry.
