In January 2026, the country's enterprises produced goods worth 85.1 trillion soums, according to the State Committee on Statistics of Uzbekistan. This is 7.8% more compared to January of last year. As of February 1, there were 60.6 thousand industrial enterprises operating in the republic, most of which are concentrated in the production of food products, non-metallic mineral products, clothing, metal products, and furniture.
Per capita analysis showed that the leaders were Navoi region (24.6 million soums), the city of Tashkent (4.4 million soums), Tashkent region (3.9 million soums), and Syrdarya region (2.6 million soums). In some regions, growth rates exceeded the national average of 105.7%, for example, in Syrdarya region — 106.6%, Namangan region — 106.5%.
The manufacturing industry accounted for 83.1% of the total volume, mining — 7.6%, electricity and gas supply — 8.7%. In January, 3.7 billion m³ of natural gas, 54.1 thousand tons of oil, 110.6 thousand tons of gasoline, 1 million tons of cement, and 92 thousand tons of flour were produced. In the high-tech sector, the share was 1.1%, medium-high-tech — 16.7%, medium-low-tech — 50.9%, low-tech — 31.2%. Electricity production increased by 8%, thermal energy — by almost 10%, wastewater disposal and treatment services — by 32.2%.
