The number of citizens connecting to the self-ban on loans service has increased dramatically in Uzbekistan. According to the Credit Information and Analytical Center, as of April 1, 2026, 2,207,753 people have already used this opportunity. At the same time, more than 1.7 million users have joined the system since the beginning of the year — at the start of the year there were only 438,322 of them.
The mechanism allows you to voluntarily block the processing of loans, microloans and credit cards in your name, reducing the risk of fraud. Among those who have connected to the service are 1,283,506 men and 924,247 women. Users can remove the restriction at any time or re-establish it.
The service is available through the KATM mobile application, the my.gov.uz public services portal, credit bureaus and public services centers. The sharp increase in popularity shows that residents of the country are increasingly protecting themselves from financial fraud schemes and are more attentive to the security of their data.
